• Use boxes of good quality, don’t pack them too heavy and try to purchase same size.

  • Cut down on boxes by making all of your baskets, laundry bins, hampers, and suitcases work for you.

  • Pack and label the items you plan to use first after your move separately. Make sure the movers place these either in your car or at the end of the truck for easy access.

  • Wrap your breakables (glass, mirrors, dishes…etc) in bubble wrap, shrink wrap, or moving blankets. You can add this service at an additional cost. Ask about this while booking your moving appointment.

-Pack plates vertically, like records. They’ll be less likely to break.

  • Make sure to clearly label your boxes and also include what room they will need to be moved to.

  • Keep sandwich bags handy for holding any small parts of things you have to take apart, like curtain rods or mounted flat-screen TVs.

  • Take a photo of how your electronics are connected so you can remember how and where all the wires go.
